For the woman who feels like a failure of a woman
The woman who wants to be a homemaker but…
-is afraid of judgement.
-never learned how.
-doesn’t know where to start.
We know that pain.
That’s why we’re committed to empowering & encouraging the new generation of homemakers.
We’re redefining the term Homemaker
With diaries to empower you and a story to encourage you, our hope is that you can redefine your life and become the homemaker you aspire to be.
From The Diary of Rosalie Shepherd:
“Finding recipes isn’t difficult to do…what’s difficult to do is find the motivation to keep trying when you continue to mess up…when you feel like a failure of a woman. That feeling hurts and is hard to talk about. I personally find that a lot of women either act like they have it all together or they blatantly tell you they don’t care to even try. There aren’t many women admitting that they are trying and failing.
My diaries give me an outlet to express my frustration in this journey. My diaries aren’t meant to be a compilation of polished recipes and proven gardening tips. They’re meant to act as tools that support me as I work to develop those recipes and tips. They’re meant to be filled with mistakes and lessons learned.
I probably have at least ten entries dedicated just to learning how to make spaghetti with meatballs. Each time I made it, I tweaked the recipe then recorded what I liked and disliked about it until I finally perfected it to my liking. Now, I just reference the entry where that perfected recipe is recorded.”
