Our Mission:
To empower and encourage the new generation of Homemakers.
Our Vision & Values:
At Willingness Within, we believe the term Homemaker needs a new definition; one that conveys the strength and heart of the new generation.
The term Homemaker in today’s society is often used in a derogatory way, referring to an oppressed woman who is dependent on her husband, or to describe a selfish, idle woman who outsources her responsibilities.
We refute both of those definitions. Instead, we believe the term Homemaker should convey strength…a strong woman who is connected to her femininity, puts others before herself and works hard because she’s willing. She’s willing to do what’s righteous, and she’s humble about it. She’s not looking for validation or praise from her family or friends. She’s selfless…altruistic, even.
Being a homemaker can look different for everyone. Some women may choose to be home full time, while others may choose to have a part-time or full-time job, or anything in between. We believe that what distinguishes a homemaker from just any woman, is that she prioritizes the wellbeing of her family and home over herself.
